What an exciting morning Year 3 had! Wrapped up warm, everyone all ventured out to the forest in the rain. Mr Hadfield has lots of things ready for the children to get involved with. The children started off by building their very own Stone Age settlement for farming. They had to remember what a Stone Age settlement looked like and included. After collecting a large amount of sticks, Year 3 began to build their animal and crop enclosures.
Year 3 also hosted and took part in Hartford's Worm Charming Championship. They had to charm the worms by tapping on the ground to make it sound like it was raining The children did this by tapping sticks and stamping their feet on the ground. 3LM charmed a total of 18 worms in ten minutes!
